New Look Lipsticks | First Impressions

Hello lovelies! Today I am going to be talking about a very underrated lipstick. Despite feeling a little under the weather, I'm going to power through it. I've said it once and I'll say it again, never let a cold take control of your life...(apologies for the cringe level being at an all time high right there).

New Look definitely wouldn't be the first place that springs to mind when I think of makeup, not because it's no good but simply because I hadn't acknowledged Its existence. So, once I had registered the presence of a counter full of various cosmetics in the highstreet clothing shop, I wasted no time splurging my cash.
Well, I guess 'splurging' would be an inaccurate choice of verb considering their pricing ranges between £2-£13.

For my first New Look makeup testing experience, I opted for the lips category. You can never have too many lip products, right? It took a fair amount of time to hunt for the perfect shade - there was so much variation of colours and formulation. The price also pleasantly surprised me, for just £3.99 one of these lipsticks can be yours.

I picked up a matte lipstick in the shade 'latte' which is the most stunning nude with brown undertones. And don't even get me started on the packaging, I mean, It's made up entirely of rose gold. What more could you want?

This product won't fail you on the formulatation front either with its soft, satin texture that has no aspect of stickiness - result! It also shouldn't disappoint the pigmentation lovers out there, It's not insanely pigmented but definitely not sheer.

All in all I am thoroughly impressed with this product and I think it needs a ton more recognition. For £3.99 it's such a steal! Have you tried any New look cosmetics? I would love to know in the comments!

Yearly Favourites | 2017 Reflection

Another year knocked off the calendar, what a year 2017 has been. Evidently, like every year, it's certainly had its ups and downs. However, for the beauty/fashion industry, 2017 can primarily be composed as an applaudable year. Below I have compiled a list of items that I have been religiously using and loving over the year. Noticeably, it was incredibly difficult to refrain myself from writing pages upon pages of the products I've adored this year - there's just been so many! So instead I have narrowed it down to my holy grail items. With that out of the way, lets begin!

Best lip product...?
Hands down, L'Oreal Colour Riche lipstick. Lipstick used to be the biggest time killer in the mornings, should I go bold or subtle? Matte or shimmer? The possibilities were endless. Ever since this product joined my collection, the hesitation has vanished.

Best fragrance...?
Zoella sweet inspirations body mist. I lived in this scent over the summer, so as you can image, I was devastated when its final spritz was pumped. So needless to say, I was thrilled to receive a new one of these for Christmas. Those of you who've known me long enough would know I'm one of the worst at describing scents but I'll give it my best shot. I would describe this as a sweet scent with notes of macaroon.

More Fragrances?!
I'm going to be naughty and add an extra newly received perfume of mine that I have been loving - Gucci Bloom. Initially, I didn't think it was fair to add a fragrance I've only possessed for a day into a yearly favourites but it's just to good not to. This is the most stunning floral scent that I can already tell will be loved through the whole of 2018.

Best hand cream...?
Hand to heart, Lush Helping Hands is the best hand cream I've come across yet. It even knocks The Body Shop hand cream out of first place which was a very firm favourite of mine. It nourishes deep into the skin and I find that I can wear this for a long period of time with out the hassle or need to reapply. A life saver for dry winter skin.

Best Mascara...?
Is it even worth saying? Why else would I have written a whole post dedicated to the  Lancome Monsieur Big mascara if it was no good. This product ticks all the mascara criteria from the volume and formula to the packaging and application.

Best Brand...?
Without a shadow of a doubt, Benefit. I say this constantly and I'm sure you're all bored of it but they just nail absolutely everything. Product, packaging, formulation, etc.

Best series...?
Stranger Things. I'm aware that I'm quite late jumping on the band wagon for this one but I'm grateful I jumped on it at all. This hooking series, in my opinion, is one of the best on Netflix.

So there we have it, my yearly favourites. The list could go on and on. Believe it or not, I've never actually done a favourites before but if this is something you want to see more regularly then make sure to leave a comment. I hope you guys had an incredible Christmas, until next time!

2018 Blogging Goals

Supposedly, you could say I'm relatively new to the whole blogging scene, just under 6 months ago I entered the wonderful world of blogging. However, in the little  time I have been part off this incredible community, I've learnt so much and struggle to remember my life before I started being a part of this. It's had such a positive impact on my life which is entirely down to you guys and I'm immensely thankful for it.

It's surreal to me that we've managed to gather such an incredible and supportive community of people in the previous couple months, taking into consideration that I've only been religiously active on this blog for the past two to three months. What baffles me the most is the fact that even one person would be remotely interested in something I do, let alone consider hitting that follow button. 2018 is the year I want to progressively take things on here that extra step forward. Here are a few of my aims for the fresh start:

Invest more time into planning
Having my content planned out somewhere is nothing short of a life saver. I've tried various ways; calendars, online documents, post-it notes but none of them seem to serve their purpose. Come the new year my mission is to invest in a planner to assist me with all my organisational needs.

Boost in motivation.
In general, I'd say that I'm fairly decent as far as motivation is concerned. I feel very passionately about blogging as writing has always been a big part of my life, the one place where my mind finally allows a hint of creativity. Saying that, it doesn't mean lazy days are out of the window for me, that by no means is the case. My motivation lacks the most when I struggle to get out of bed and the thought of being productive tires me. But that's not the mindset I aspire to have from now onwards.

Get Organised
I'd love to say that 'I've got everything under control' but realistically that statement doesn't apply to me. From the start of next year I aim to create a new and improved blog schedule to aid for my new year needs.

1ooo+ on Bloglovin'
Ater analysing my blog statistics I have concluded that if my blog continues to steadily grow at the same rate then 1000 followers isn't looking too out of reach.

Better photographs
Easier said then done when you know next to nothing about photography (which is probably apparent if you've ever looked at my photos). However, there are little things I can do to improve them that one bit more. For Example: better lighting, more blogging props, etc.

So there we have it. I didn't think that I'd have to be sitting down and writing this so early but as always the time has flown by. 2017, why are you so eager to leave?

My Must Watch Christmas Movies|Top 5

Christmas is swiftly making its way here and the big day is as close Monday. Yep, Monday. Can you believe how quick this final month has zoomed by? It feels like yesterday that I was saying goodbye to all my summer clothes and putting them away for a long winters rest.

Besides the manic Christmas shopping and excessive hot chocolate drinking, one thing I always put time aside for during this busy period is Christmas movies. In fact as I'm writing this I'm currently buried under a blanket with my eyes hooked on the t.v whilst watching the iconic elf play in pride.

There are more and more Christmas movies being released each year yet only a few make the cut for me. Them rare few I have compiled into a list below.

The Holiday
This film has to be ranked number one which is saying a lot considering I'm a Christmas movie addict. It ticks every box of the Christmas movie criteria; cosy, festive and guaranteed to make you giggle.

If you ever get the opportunity to lay your eyes on this film then it will automatically end up in your top movie Christmas list. A comedy mainly acted by children based on a school nativity play, a close second to The Holiday.

Probably the most iconic Christmas movie and I can see why. Christmas in a nutshell.

The Grinch
'He's green...he's mean...and he hates Christmas!'. What would Christmas be if it wasn't stolen by the Grinch?

The Snowman
The story of a boy whose snowman comes to life, a calming film filled with magical adventures.

How To Stick To Your Budget

Over Spending is something I think we may all be guilty of, I know I certainly am; predominately in the Christmas period, which is arguably the most destructive time of the year for your wallet.

In this post I am going to explore a few of the things you can do to save a few pennies, as at the end of the day, they all add up. Additionally, this may also help out some of you last minute Christmas shoppers browsing the manic streets of Christmas Eve madness.

Don't forget about the advantage Cards
Evidently, advantage cards are a massive life saver this time of year as well as all year round. I'll admit that oddly enough I am fairly new to the whole advantage card scene so my knowledge on the topic is relatively limited. Saying that, my understanding does stretch far enough to the point that I get the general gist of it, which is that they're incredible. Specifically the Boots cards which reward you with four points for every £1 you spend and before you know it you will be surrounded with savings and stacked up on points.

Don't forget about those Pennies
Whether it's unintentional or not, I couldn't help but notice the pennies are often left in the corner somewhere, unattended. I concluded that this was likely the case because a lot of people make assumptions that they are 'valueless' or 'of little financial use' and a few months a go I would have agreed. However, the past few months I've been saving up all my supposedly 'useless' pennies and you'd be surprised at how significantly they add up.

Is it worth it?
Before I hand my money over to the cashier and there's no going back, I always reiterate, is it worth it? Moreover, will they use it? I've discovered that there are lot more novelty types of gifts on sale this year and, as much as they are tempting, are they worth it?

Hopefully that helped some of you guys out who have been struggling to stay on top of your budget. 4 more days!

The £1 Lipstick

If you were unaware of the concept of MUA, they are a super affordable drugstore brand, most recognised for their highlighters and lip products. Any drugstore lover or bargain hunter has something from this brand somewhere in their collection.

Being a massive fan of MUA myself, I was ecstatic to spot these lil' beauties sitting in solitude on the MUA counter, unaccompanied. So I took it upon myself to purchase them and give them a deserving home: my dressing table.

If the £1 price tag wasn't already jaw dropping enough then here is an alternative mind-blowing statistic for you; the cost of one single Mac lipstick is exactly the same as 16 and a half MUA ones. So essentially you can buy 16  drugstore lipsticks for the price of one high-end one. I don't know about you but that bewildered me, I mean, what choice would you opt for?

Understandably, if the product was terrible then I would be able to comprehend the £1 price tag with a little more ease, but oh no, that's not the case.
This product isn't short of impeccable and really does have a fair amount to offer.

The pigmentation is bold and vivid and the formulation is moisturising and highly resembles one of a lip balms. The packaging is elegant and classy, although slightly cheap, plastic feeling but for the price, overall appearance and function, I couldn't possibly complain.
Additionally, screwed on to the bottom of every lipstick is another small pot of lipstick, ideal for lining the lips and for extra product when the lipstick sadly runs out.

If you were on the hunt for an affordable yet good quality lipstick, look no further!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

With over a week of non Christmas related posts (I know, unheard of) , I can't express how much I've been itching to sit down and write something festive.

Even better that I am well and truly in the Christmas spirit, it started to snow in England earlier this week. Yes, you did hear correctly. S-N-O-W. Although that doesn't sound like too much of a miraculous event, when it hasn't snowed properly (and settled) in a good few years, it does in fact feel like a miracle.
Also, just out of curiosity, do you guys like the snow? I feel like it highly resembles marmite, you either hate it or love it.

I think it's safe to say that I am loving the build up to Christmas this month which is why I am clinging onto each day that goes past and dreading the return of boring every day life.

Some of the reasons I love it so much are as follows;

Food. Just straight up food. The time of year where any healthy, nutritional eating plans get thrown out the window as you find yourself tucking into a box of Quality Street. A season full of mince pies and all things nice *unintentional rhyming*

Family Time. It doesn't get much better than cosying up by the fire, sweeping the dust off the old family board games and getting the family quizzes out of hibernation. After 11 months in waiting let the annual traditions commence!

The Christmas Spirit. I'm not sure what it is but there's something about passing all the newly transformed festive homes that instantly enlightens my mood and gives me such Christmassy vibes.

That is just a brief snippet of some of my favourite things about the lead up to Christmas. Not long to go!

Benefit | Worth the Hype?

I am a proud consumer of Benefit Cosmetics products. It's no secret, it's no lie, just the truth and nothing but the truth. Don't get me wrong, I equally love other brands too (many of my all time favourite products aren't from Benefit) but I recently noticed that Benefit seem to get their products spot on in every category going; that being face, eyes, skin, etc.

Being the intrigued person that I am, this lil' realisation of mine evoked the pathway to my curiosity and got me thinking about all the factors that make the brand so consistently successful. So if you share my curiosity, here is a small glimpse into the wonderful world of Benefit Cosmetics and a few reason why I love it.

The packaging
Benefit, alongside Too Faced, never fails on the packaging front (they have some of the best press releases I've ever laid my eyes on). You can tell a jaw dropping amount of time has gone into creating and manufacturing the packaging. In addition to Benefits bronzers and blushes they also come with a genuine good quality brush (not the cheap, plastic type that physically hurt to apply).

The Product Itself
Of course, the actual product. How could I avoid the prime reason any longer? Although the packaging is stunning that by no means it slips into the common error of style over substance. I can't speak for every product but the ones in which I am fortunate to have tried have all been exceptional in formulation, pigmentation and every piece of make-up terminology out there.

Their charity work
Just by booking a brow wax with Benefit you will help someone out. During the month of May Benefit donates their earnings to charities over the globe and they've already raised over eleven million dollars, that's taking your hat off worthy.

Anddd that's a wrapppp. Do you share my love for benefit Cosmetics? If so, make sure leave a comment!

Netflix | Top Picks

Happy Weekend guys! Christmas is progressively making it's way here, it's getting scary how fast the time has been going by recently. I've started posting a lot more regularly this month (I may as well be doing Blogmas!) and the majority of those posts have been Christmas themed or Winter related and don't get me wrong, I absolutely love writing these type of posts but I think I might be edging to the point of Christmas overload. That a valid excuse? Probably not! Anyways today I will be sharing with you some of my favourite things to watch on the beloved Netflix.

However, obviously with my magpie tendencies for Christmas I can't throw the festivities completely out of the mix, so a couple of my favourite Christmas shows will be featured.

The age of Adaline
Being completely honest with you when I first discovered that this film was in a category for Fantasy and Romance I was slightly skeptical considering I don't tend to go for films of that genre. Despite my hesitation I still gave it a watch and now I understand the meaning of trying something a bit out of your comfort zone ( If you class that as out of your comfort zone) because little did I know it would end up being my new favourite movie.

Starring Blake Lively, this film is about a woman, Adaline Bowman, who has has miraculously remained just twenty nine years old for the past eight decades. Only her daughter knows her secret until she encounters Ellis jones.

I can't put into words how creative and well made this film is, it deserves so much more recognition.

Stranger Things
I'm a bit late jumping on the bandwagon for this one but I'm so glad that I did. I was putting off watching it for a while due to various reasons but when I stumbled across this trailer my brother made I was hooked and logged onto Netflix as quick as I could. I've only watched the first episode but just from that small bit of footage I was gripped and can already picture this in my monthly favourites.

Outnumbered - Christmas Edition
If you're not from the UK, Outnumbered is a sitcom about a family who's life is filled with comedy and chaos. It's a lighthearted series guaranteed to make you laugh, you know it's Christmas when this shows appears on your t.v. Fun Fact: I met one of the cast members at the Train Station one time.

Gilmore Girls
Gilmore Girls. A classic Netflix original. If you haven't already watched this I strongly suggest you do. They mastered the proportion of drama and comedy perfectly, there's always something going on but if you went out to make a cup of tea then you shouldn't of missed anything too drastic. A perfect series to watch curled up into a blanket with your loved one and a festive mug of hot chocolate.

Miranda-Christmas Episodes
Much like Outnumbered 'Miranda' is a British Sitcom comedy that is certain to put you in a good mood. Starring Miranda Hart, Patricia hodge, Tom Ellis and Sally Phillips this isn't something you want to miss out on.

So there we have it guys, my Netflix top picks. If you have any alternative Netflix recommendations make sure to leave them below and I'll be sure to check them out!

Best Mascara Ever?

Breaking news, I repeat, breaking news; the newly discovered Lancôme mascara is progressively making its way up the makeup hierarchy and into my everyday routine. Yes, you did hear me correctly. Who would have thought it was ever remotely possible to knock the trusty L'Oreal Paradise Extatic out of first place?

Don't get me wrong, I still absolutely adore the L'Oreal mascara and at a drugstore price of £11.99 you can't go wrong. However, as this mascara's gradually making its way towards the position of my all time favourite mascara, it would be obscene for me not to let you in on it!

From the products minimalistic, elegant and classy packaging to its dramatic and volumizing effect, it really does tick all the "mascara criteria" imaginable.

Besides the beautiful packaging and voluminous effect, the reason that makes this mascara so phenomenal is how it manages to keep my lashes upright and spick and span throughout the entire day, no exception. If your lashes are anything like mine then you likely struggle to find a mascara that keeps your eyelashes held up for more than a minute. If that issue relates to you, I suggest running to your nearest Lancôme counter as quick as you can.

Another mind-blowing fact about this product is that it does in fact pass the sneeze test. Yes, the sneeze test. I don't know about you but I often find that when I sneeze or my eyes start to water then my mascara uninvitedly decides to transfer on to my face. However, you guessed it, with this one, that fortunately isn't the case.

So there we have it guys, if it wasn't already immensely obvious I would strongly recommend you get your hands on this product. Apologies if I didn't go into depth on things like the formulation and application but cut a long story they too are remarkable. Hope you guys are having a lovely December so far, not long to go!

Affordable and Thoughtful Christmas Gift Ideas

It's that time of the year again where we struggle to think of presents for our loved ones that fit both their needs as well as our budgets.

Christmas is an expensive time, there's no hiding from that fact, but it doesn't always have to be quite as extortionate as you may predict. I believe that sometimes the more thoughtful gifts of a less excessive cost make the most memorable ones.

What if there's a way of transforming the time and money consuming season into just time consuming?
Well, you're in luck because today I'm going to share with you some cute yet affordable present ideas that you can give to your friends, family or significant other. I will give it my best shot to cater for different price ranges and budgets.

The first suggestion is this super adorable stocking filled with sweets and treats. I'd say I'm obsessed but even that would be the biggest understatement. Not only is it totally festive and cute but it is also super customisable.
You may want to put some skin care and cosmetics in there or as a cheaper alternative, sweets. The choice is a hundred percent yours which is one of the reasons I love this gift so much, you can customise it to fit the needs of whoever you're buying for.

I decided to opt for the more budget friendly option of sweets, however I did add the occasional nail polish and beauty product here and there. If you had any enquiries, the stocking was £1.99 from Home Bargains and the rest from Superdrug.

These Hot Chocolate kits will automatically be at top of your search bar if you type anything along the lines of "DIY  Christmas present Ideas". All you need is a mug (preferably Christmas themed), hot chocolate powder and lastly some marshmallows to top it all off. It's that simple. You can DIY this or buy pre-made ones like I have done, again mine are from Home Bargains and cost me little expense at £2.99.

Who wouldn't want to receive a hot chocolate kit? I know I certainly would. Next!

This idea I like to call the 'Bath Pick n' Mix". Can you not just picture these in a pink and white striped paper bag?

I absolutely love bath bombs but I never seem to buy them for myself purely because I feel guilty spending money on a product that will become history after just one bath.

So if you're anything like me, receiving bath bombs makes your day. Now, I can already picture some of you guys thinking 'how is this not going to cost a fortune?' and before I had acknowledged The Body Shop's bath products existence I would have agreed with you.

As much as I love a bit of Lush, I'd be lying if I said they were a perfect match for an affordable gift guide. So as you can imagine I was over the moon when I found the Body Shop Bath products were £1.50 each. Their bright and vivid packaging also help them resemble sweets which is why they fit in with a 'pick n' mix theme'. They also sell bubble bars (with the same price and same packaging) in addition to the bombs which I have found last me approximately three uses, if not more.

50 reasons/memories
This last one is the least costly and In my opinion, the most meaningful. For this one you have to write down fifty reasons why you love or appreciate someone. Alternatively, you could also do fifty memories you've had with your loved one, something along those lines. Personally, I believe they look best on separate pieces of paper and stored in a simple and cute mason jar. Super Pinterest worthy!

So there we have it guys, If you have any other ideas you want to share make sure to leave a comment!

Christmas Playlist - Top Ten Songs

Before I begin I just wanted to say pinch punch, first day of the month, I hope you guys are all having a lovely start to 'the most wonderful time of the year'. Let's let the countdown commence!

For the longest time now, in fact ever since I started this blog, I have wanted to do a music playlist but I never quite got around to it. Partially because I wasn't sure if you guys would be interested but also due to the fact that I had no idea where or when to start.

But what better occasion to begin than on December 1st when it is finally classed as socially acceptable to blast out Mariah Carey and sing "Jingle Bells" at the top of your lungs?

If you've been restraining yourself from listening to any remotely festive songs then abandon your anti-Christmas mindset and forcefully hit that play button on the Christmas charts(maybe ignore that last bit, I don't want to be held responsible for any broken phones!).

Mariah Carey - All I want For Christmas
Kicking it off with a bang we have 'All I want for Christmas' in first place. I'm neither a musician or describing expert so all I can say is give this a listen if you haven't already. The Ultimate Christmas classic.

Wham! - Last Christmas
Throwing another classic in the mix with "Last Christmas" by Wham!.(I can't tell you how hard it is to narrow it down to just ten songs when your a Christmas Music lover!).

Dean Martin - Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
What else can you sing when you're praying for snow?

Ariana Grande - Santa Tell Me
A slightly newer edition to the Christmas music game so you may say less of a classic. But hey, one extra catchy Christmas song never hurt anyone, am I right?

Idina Menzel &Michael Bublé - Baby It's Cold Outside
"I really can't stay, Baby it's cold outside"!

Frank Sinatra - Have yourself a merry little Christmas
There have been so may covers of this particular song and I can see why so many people love it.

Dean Martin Martin - Winter Wonderland
The definition of Christmas in just one minute and forty five seconds.

Michael Bublé Christmas Album
How could I possibly write a Christmas playlist without mentioning the king of Christmas Music himself?
Some of my personal faves are:
-Michael Bublé - It's beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas
-Michael Bublé - Santa Baby

That just about rounds up my first ever Christmas playlist, let me know what your favourite Christmas songs are and whether you want to see more of these in the future!

Gorgeous Gold: Packaging over product?

Although I'm guilty of sweeping it under the carpet, I am fully aware that ninety percent of the things I purchase are influenced by the packaging. The majority of that being gold or rose gold, I'm not sure what it is about that certain colour but we seem to have a very powerful magnetic force that attracts each other as soon as my body enters a store. It's a very dangerous relationship that neither me or my bank account are thankful for.

My curiosity got me thinking about whether the beautiful packaging was all a product had to offer or just a bonus to go alongside a magnificent product.

MUA highlighter
This stunning champagne gold highlighter is available for £3 in Superdrug, can I just emphasise on the £3!!?

If your highlighter preference sits in the subtle and natural category then this probably isn't going to be your cup of tea. Personally I tend to opt for a more natural looking highlight myself but in this instance I have a very justified exception.

This product never fails to blow my mind with it's intensely pigmented and stunning glow. The products formula is nothing short of amazing and It's extremely long lasting. The only criticism is that you may have to rub the top layer of the powder of to really see it's true capability.

I can confidently say that in this circumstance we have a strong case of product over packaging which is always a good thing. I just can't get over the fact that it retails for three pounds, I mean would you pay three pounds for your new holy grail highlighter?

No7 MascaraThis mascaras clearly not afraid of standing out, I mean you can see it from a mile away sparkling away in all its glory.

The glittery gold mascara is currently being sold for £14 at Boots, perhaps a little more on the pricey side for a brand that is considered drugstore?

This mascara is advertised to create big and bold lashes from the first sweep as well as full bodied volume from just one coat.

Besides the beautiful packaging this product does have a lot to offer. You get the length and black bold coating that No7 claimed and in that instance you get your moneys worth.

Despite the length and colour I've found that the volume and formula is slightly lacking. The formula has a slightly too watery consistency for my liking and I haven't noticed much volume like publicized.
As much as I don't hate this product, regretfully I'm going to have to say it's packaging over product.

L'oreal Lipstick
It's no secret that the L'Oreal lipsticks are some of my favourites. L'Oreal just always get it right in the lipstick game, wether it's formula, colour, finish or general day to day wear, they always ticks all the boxes.

I can't fault or criticise these lipsticks which is why I'm going to say that this one is a hundred percent Product over packaging.

Sun Beam
Next up we have a personal favourite of mine as far as liquid highlighters go.
Sun Beam manages to provide a natural bronzed and 'sun kissed' look without it feeling heavy on the skin. It blends beautifully and It's honestly incredible, what can I say?
Feel free to check out my review on this highlighter if you are interested and want a further and more detailed review.

Hourglass Powder
Last but by no means least we have this gorgeous powder by hourglass. A long side the luxurious gold packaging you are greeted with a smooth, velvety formula and bronze shimmery glow.

Although this isn't the smartest option if you are on a budget you do definitely get a top quality product.

Thankyou for reading, feel free to leave a comment! Are you ever guilty of buying for the packaging?

Black Friday Bargains

After 365 days in waiting the time has finally come, it's Black Friday! This annual event was practically made for me, I mean a day purely dedicated to shopping with exclusive offers and deals?Yes please!

Hopefully some of these offers are still available for you guys so that you can shop until your hearts content and make slightly less of a dent in your wallet.

Although I'm not from the States, with my mastered art of capturing the best deals, I managed to pick up a fair amount of items.

The first items that ended up in my basket are the Body Shop bath bombs and bubbles. The colourful array of sweet lookalikes immediately caught my attention as I was browsing through the wonderful bath and body store. Not only is the smell to die for but these little gems, at £2.50 (fifty percent off), didn't break the bank

Also from The Body shop is this incredible, one of a kind life saver. If there's one hand cream I can always rely on come Winter when my hands are in desperate need of moisture, it is without a shadow of a doubt this one.
I have tried the Body Shop hand creams in pretty much every scent going with the 'Vanilla Chai' scent being no exception. It is my all time favorite Body Shop scent and I like to stock up on it as unfortunately it is only available during Christmas *sad face*.

These hand creams retail for five pound and unfortunately I didn't manage to get any deal to go alongside. However I thought it was still worth mentioning if you are still in search for your holy grail hand cream.

I'm not sure where to begin with this one. In all honesty I wasn't planning on buying this, it was one of those last minute purchases of products you see whilst queuing at the till.
I picked it up anyway as it was reduced from five pound to two pound and I had heard numerous good reviews on Primarks brushes.  I initially thought it was an oval brush as it was a last minute purchase but I was quickly mistaken and proved wrong. This is actually a black sponge , not a bristle brush like I had anticipated. Not going to lie I was pretty disappointed as the product wasn't made to the highest of standards and wasn't as I predicted. However, some of that disappointment was partially down to me for not examining the product.

This beautiful pink jumper has only been in my possession for roughly an hour and I am already obsessed. It has a gorgeous tie up detailing at the back and is available at Miss Selfridge. To top it all off it was on offer from £22 to £15.40, Deal!

That's everything, I hope you all had a lovely Black Friday and got all the deals and offers you were hoping for!

Turning my room into a Winter Wonderland *super affordable*

Christmas is one of my favourite holidays and I can't put in to words how difficult it has been to restrain myself and hold back from writing a seasonal inspired post.

However, now It is past the mid November mark and I think that now could be classed as an appropriate time to start, right?

Before I begin I just wanted to say that I didn't go all out transforming my room, just a few decorations here and there, purely because I don't want to spend a ton on ornaments that I will only have in use once a year.

This is the main reason why I was able to round up my total basket order to under fifteen pounds.

I tend to gravitate towards a less themedChristmas tree and instead opt for a more mismatching, less organized tree. However my initial preference took a change whilst I was in Primark, on a Christmas decor hunt I came across these adorable little baubles that came in a pack of 30 for only 2 pound. I thought they'd go perfectly with the mini Christmas tree I'm about to show you, no spoilers!
This gorgeous one foot Christmas tree caught my eye in paperchase the other week not just because of it's beautiful silver finish but also due to the fact that I thought it was the perfect size to fit comfortably in my room without taking up too much space.

This cost me five pounds which I thought was quite pricy for the size however it is exactly what I was searching for so I can't complain.

Let's all just take a moment for these beautiful gingerbread tea lights.
How could I have possibly walked past these and ignored them?
Although I didn't exactly buy them for the designed purpose of burning, they were only 2 pounds from Primark so you can't go wrong.

These are the last two items I picked up from Primark and they're honestly some of my favourites.

The led Christmas tree completes my room and gives it such a cosy vibe and the glittery stocking chalk board I fell in love with, I imagined it with a cute Christmassy design or maybe as a countdown to how many sleeps until the big day.

There are a few other bits and pieces I have used to decorate my room this year but unfortunately as they are slightly older I don't still recall where they're from and I don't want to show you guys something that isn't available for you!
Anyway I hope this still gave you some inspiration or ideas of room decor you may have been on the lookout for, make sure to leave a comment on your thoughts or any decor you have been loving!

Although I don't like to wish away the year, Christmas please hurry up ,we miss you!
