Bath & Body Works Haul

Hi guys! Long time no see, eh? Actually...aren’t I meant to be a weekly blogger? Where have I been the past two weeks?

Well - of course- I’d absolutely looove to ramble on about some very valid excuse as to why... but unfortunately I don’t think raiding bath and body work’s shelves will be the substantial response...

Instead, truth be told, I’ve been splashing the cash in Miami. The city that’s captured my heart. Or life savings... (fancy giving me a complimentary refund bath and body works?)

In my defense, all of this does mean more content for you guys! Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see any reviews/ first impressions on any of the featured products!

Anyway, I digress, you guys just came to nose on what goodies I purchased in the states, right? Haha, don’t worry, I won’t tell.

(This is just half of what I bought in the US, i'll share  soon!)
Bath and body works

I’m just going to go ahead and say what everyone else is thinking. How on earth has someone not started a petition to bring this store to the UK yet?

Where else are you going to stumble across the following items (that smell just as awesome as they sound) for as little as £16?

The PocketBacs: Iconic.

I never thought it was possible for something to smell like the season of orange tinged lights and pumpkins scented candles. Guess I was mistaken.

This nourishing soap rears-away from the spiced, (woody) autumnal notes and ventures into a world of fire roasted marshmallows - perfect for a sweeter fragrance lover!

Leaves room spray - I didn't know I needed this in my life but duhhh... who doesn't want to walk right into the leaf infused season?

So, there we have it! I didn't actually buy as much as I anticipated from this store because I went to so many other amazing shops (reviews in waiting!) and also didn't really fancy trekking down to the oversized baggage lane...

Also apologies on not uploading in two weeks! As you can tell, I've been on holiday so haven't had the opportunity. Although, I haven't missed a weekly post the whole entire year I've had this blog so hopefully I won't win the worst blogger of the year award haha!

How I Edit My Instagram Photos + The Best Free Editing Apps

Not getting as many likes?

The good ol' "go on, do it for the gram!" trick just doesn't quite seem to nudge the adequate amount of motivation out of you?

Or quite frankly. You just want to create top quality content.

Find yourself in one of these categories? Well, all three of them have one solution...

So, fancy an exclusive sneak peak into how I edit my Insta pictures PLUS the best FREE editing apps roaming the streets of the App Store?

Here's the rundown.

Oh wait, hold up. How did I forget to use this opportunity to plug my Insta?

Here it is - My Instagram (Sorry...I couldn't help myself haha).

Okay, here's the rundown. Actually.

SNAPSEED - Kickin' it off with a good'n. Honestly... I really don't even know how I managed to gain a single follower without this guy - It's amazing!

The Best Features:

Selective: I may have gone a little over board in my examples but selective allows you to focus on a particular area of a photo (however big or small) and adjust the brightness, saturation, contrast or structure.

White Balance: Because we're not all into the Oompa Loompa look...

Facetune2-  I have been absolutely LIVING for this app the past few weeks - and not for the purposes you may think! Although this app gets most of its recognition for giving selfies a "your face but better" kinda vibe, it's also been the epitome of what I needed for a colourful and summery feed.

This is thanks to the 'paint' feature, enabling you to select from an array of colours and change the colour of a particular part of your photo.

Here's an example:

Focus: Ahh. Focusing. I have a strong penchant for this one - it can really add so much more to a photo.
Fotor is the perfect app for focusing/ defocusing; it has multiple focus strengths and shapes.

The photo I used for the example, however,  isn't the best representation of this things capability (to say the least) - the before definitely looks better!

So, there we have it! Those are the main things I do to edit my photos! Sorry for not posting last week, I was away in rain ol' Ireland which was actually pretty warm which was a nice change :) I'm going away agin in 3 days so I'll try to write up a couple of posts in advance!

Thank you all for reading!
